Ok, a little embarrasing, but I figured if anyone knew anything about this, it would be you guys. Here goes...
I have been breastfeeding my baby for almost 7 months now, and for the last couple of months I have had really bad armpit b.o. It's really embarrasing and I have to carry around extra deodarant with me in the diaper bag, because it could hit at any moment. It's worse when I wear a tank-top, but it still happens with regular shirts too. I have tried switching deodarant, but nothing seems to help. I'm figuring it's just my hormones changing, but I was wondering, has anyone else experienced this while breastfeeding? Any advice? These are the deodarants I have tried:
degree, suave, secret, dove
Thanks so much!

I went through the same thing. I used to be so bad that the top of my deodorant would smell after I put it on! Eventually the hormones balanced out and things were back to normal. In the meantime I used antibacterial soap in my armpits and my husband's deodorant and that helped a little.

I don't know about breastfeeding/BO because I was never a breastfeeder BUT, I recommend Mitchem. I use the regular gel for Men, unscented. I've found that this product works great for me.

Good luck!

It's not a breastfeeding thing, but I would recommend you're careful about which deodorant/anti-prespirant you use since babies often put their hands under your arms while nursing. There are natural deodorants but they are not at all effective (according to my kids, since that's what I use). Strong BO can be a hormone thing or it could be a detox thing (mine is stronger when I am detoxing well!). It can also be something you're eating or drinking. For example, I have much stronger BO when I've been eating garlic. My sons also recommend the men's unscented mitchum (for me).

I had that problem and started using clinical strength Secret. It's like $8 a pop, but it's well worth it! Good luck!
