I am looking for a pediatrician in the Brandon area. I prefer one who is willing to consider an alternative vaccination schedule. The pedi I am using now has made a very serious error in the care of my son and I no longer trust the practice. I appreciate all of your help.

I second Dr Champoux-Rhoden. I also like Dr Dekle in the same practice but don't care for the others too much.
Dr. Thole isn't in Brandon, but she's right by Riverview High School and worth the 10-15 minute drive. She's very supportive of alternate vaccine schedules - will even split up the mmr into individual shots. She's fantastic with kids and really takes her time to make sure you/your child have all of your questions and needs met.

Hi B.! I really like our new pediatrician. His name is Dr. Minick at Premier Care Pediatrics in Lithia. I'm not sure where you live in Brandon, but his office is near Fishhawk. I too looked for a long time for a Pediatrician that was understanding of my beliefs about vaccinating and he really is amazing. Very warm and just made me feel that I can trust him. He's also an amazing artist and has made his office so nice with floor to ceiling murals that are so fun! Each room has a different theme with plasma tv's in the rooms and lot's of books. He even has a nursing room which I think is really cool! Good luck in your search!

We love Dr. Champoux-Rhoden at Healthpoint Pediatrics. We delayed a few of the vaccinations and she was fine with it.
I didnt like Dr. Nadal long story short he is too high and mighty of himself. We see Dr. Minick and Dr Pruitt at Premier Care Pediatrics too. The # is ###-###-#### they are absolutely WONDERFUL!! I switched to their office 9 months ago at the suggestions of multiple other moms in a mom's group I belong to and I dont regret it!
