I have just started using Dr. Heather Thole. She is fabulous. Smart, caring, and compassionate. She really trusts that parents which I truly love. Very personal practice.

My family recently relocate to Riverview from Lakeland. While this isn't a huge move, I am finding the need to find a pediatrician that is a bit closer. I am looking for suggestions from moms in the area.

Hi B.,
I live in Valrico and have taken my daughter, now 5 years old, to Health Point Pediatrics in Brandon since she was born. She did see Dr. Brent Mook-Sang, who is wonderful and has been practicing in that office forever and I just can't say enough great things about him. But, now that my baby girl is growing up, I've found that seeing a woman doctor has been more comfortable for her. So, now we see Dr. Julie Dekle in the same office. She is absolutely the BEST with little girls. My sister takes her two girls to Dr. Dekle as well and we all LOVE her.
The office has 4 doctors so if you have an emergency and need a same day appointment, chances are very good that you'll get it. The nurses are great, the admin. staff is great....The entire office is top notch, and I believe it is the oldest and most well established pediatric practice in the area.

Hi,
I also use Healthpoint Pediatrics in Brandon. I believe they may have a Fishhawk/Riverview location also. I've taken both my kids since they were born. No complains whatsoever. My daughter, age 11, likes Dr. Champoux and my son, age 6, likes Dr. Mooksang. We've seen all of the doctors and they are all wonderful.
Good luck!
Kristin
I also take my girls to Health Point Pediatrics in Brandon. We love the group and see all the Dr's. Dr. Mook-Sang is our main but like one other said once they "Grow up" they can see the female Dr's more.
We live in South Fork, near 301 and Big Bend Rd. and we drive all the way to FishHawk to go to Premier Care Pediatrics. I've had some bad experiences with pediatricians around here - it is sooooo worth the drive for me! The staff is so friendly and helpful - they interact with the kids and make them feel important and special. You always get a person answering the phone, and Dr. Pruitt is very thorough. I never feel like I am wasting her time, or that any of my concerns are silly. She's great. The other doctor there seems real nice, too, but we have no experience with him. Good luck!
Dr. Heather Thole is amazing. She's with Wee Care for Kids not far from Riverview High School. We drive from Brandon to see her. I have never come across a doctor of any kind who is as patient, caring, and really knows her stuff. I can't recommend her highly enough. Her contact information along with some other patient reviews are at this link:

We're really liking Dr. Liberato at Pediatric Health Care Alliance. She's great, and her staff is really nice and helpful too.
They're in a brand new office, located in the office park on Big Bend Road, just east of 301 - if you're traveling east, you turn in just after the Publix shopping center, on the left.
