This question is for the moms who have both a boy and a girl.. Do your daughters sleep more and better than your sons? My daughter was such a good napper. She went down for a morning nap 2 hours after she got up.. then was up for 2-3 hours than another nice nap. She took 2 naps until she was 19 months old. My son at 6 months might only take 1 nap a day. and he never acts tired.. he just gets more and more hyper.. Is this a boy girl difference.. or is it just my 2 kids.

What can I do next?

My son slept much more and more soundly than my daughter. But he would get hyper when he was overly tired. Tried to put him down for a nap before he reaches that point and you might be surprised at how well (or better) he sleeps.

I never looked at it that way, but I do notice, my daughter does sleep more than my son did at her age. She's 1 and takes 2 naps per day of about 1 - 2 hrs each nap and sleeps approx 12 hrs at night. When my son was 1, he was only taking 1 nap per day and sleeping less per night. My daughter is definetely a much better sleeper!

All kids are different. This is coming from a mom with boy, boy, girl triplets who are 5. My daughter barely sleeps at all. She will sleep late in the morning if I let her but she will also be up til midnight, EVERY NIGHT. She chases me to bed pretty much every night. One of my sons can still take a nap (if I had him go lay down) and would still be in bed by 8 if I told him to. My other son is in between, he is not a night owl but only takes naps once in a while when he has exhausted himself but then will be up late. My daughter really hasn't taken a nap since she was around 18 months.

I have 2 boys and a girl. I think that it varies per child and not by sex. You mentioned that your son never acts tired... getting more and more hyper is a sign of tiredness for some children. That's what my daughter does when she is over tired, she gets hyper and starts getting into things she normally wouldn't (like she is bored). He should need a morning and afternoon nap, try putting him down when he acts hyper, counter-intuitive I know, but it works for my daughter.
