I saved a book from when my daughter was little and now her daughter loves it. Its "Miss Suzy". Its about a squirrel who lives in the top tip top of a tall oak tree.. and a band of red squirrles comes and drives her out of her home and,,well its just sweet and has more than 4 words on each page and tells a story about right overcoming evil/mean. They dont have anything that compares on the market now. Im real dissappointed in kids books now. And she loves anything princess/prince. happily ever after, and dinosaurs.

My 3 yr old boy also loves pop up truck books and Usborne books about construction vehicles. My daughter loved books Winnie the Pooh books (there's 17 or 18 in the series) that we got from the library.

She also loves Curious George, and "lift the flap" books. One of her favorites right now is a lift-the-flap book about the beach and the ocean.
