Make your own crowns - They make foam 'crowns' (hobby lobby i think has them) that the girls can decorate with stickers, markers, and 'gems' to be princesses.
Frost you own cupcakes
I'm having about 10-12 1st grade girls at my house to celebrate my twins birthday and am in need of some craft ideas. Hoping to set up a few "stations" with different crafts at each table. Does anybody have any good ideas? Keeping it pretty simple of course. Thanks!!

Frost you own cupcakes
Beads & strings to make necklaces or bracelets.
Coloring sheets and crayons.
Cookies & frosting to decorate their own.
Couple if stamp pads, thin black markers, index card and a pack of whipes. Make fingerprint animals, things like a dog, cat, inch work, bee, flower, etc. it's so cute. Use the black marker to make the ears and the whiskers and your fingerprint art. Then if u want write a car on the lined side of index card or if u got blank that's cute too. Happy birthday get well or just for you mom. Google it and practice with a sheet u can use for display. I got all these items at the dollar store. So for 5 bucks its was great and this is how my kids make bday cards for their friends bdays now. You hav to have a display though. So kids can use your ideas. Email me if u need and I can take a picture of our display sheet of 20 items if u can't find on google . So easy and most kids like to see their fingerprints.
Also headband art is in. Decorate with flowers or feathers or sequince . There r kits but Joanne's sells headbands for a buck and try dollar store for a pack of them and fake flowers. U can use ribbon to hold on the flowers or flower tape or glue etc. check out the kit and see what they use.
Make your own princess wand.
You'll need:
short dowel rods, with a small screw-eye screwed into one end.
Different kinds of ribbon
Scissors
self-sticking jewels & other decorations
glue
Kids can type their own ribbons onto the wand (You can set out an example, if they need inspiration) and decorate
I noticed that friendship pins are back. They have way cuter beads now. There are lots of kits out there to make bracelets and baretts. It's always fun to make something that you will actually use.
Scissors, glue and glitter with some construction paper is always great as well. They can make cards or pictures...whatever.
You can go to the dollar store, pick up some picture frames and let them decorate the frames. Buy some jewels to bedazzle the frame. Make sure you buy heavy duty craft glue. Then, if you can, take a picture of the group and print one out for each girl. If you can't do that at home, have your daughters give a copy with their thank you cards.
Little advice, don't try too hard, that always backfires! :)
Make their own jewelry. Necklaces & bracelets.
You can buy kits w/the beads, string, clasps etc.
Silver charms or silver-like charms.
String together, crimp bead & attach clasp w/needle nose pliers.
Make your own faux fur (or other brightly colored "big-girl" pattern) pillow.
Buy some material, pre-cut into squares, turn inside out & sew 3 sides so
they will be ready to stuff. Turn bk right side All you'll have to do is have
them stuff & sew them shut.
Edit: make sure you buy the stuffing.
Do you have a theme or can you tell us what your girls' interests are?
