Best Umbrellas for Kids

I'm looking for durable, kid friendly umbrellas. We've had some over the last year or two but they were either poor quality or abused by my 2 girls (ages 10.5 and 8). Our last Tote's umbrella broke under very light use. Any pointers or brand recommendations?

Thanks for the advice. I checked Eddie Bauer and their umbrellas are on sale for $14.99. Placing our order!

Hi there- I bought 2 from Eddie Bauer for my daughters...8 and 10. They came in nice floral patterns, they are easy to open AND close by 1 button, and the best part is they will replace them for free! you pay a bit more but it's worth it. They are also small enough to fit in their backpacks!!

A rain slicker with a hood works better and does not break.

Our last we got from Gymboree and they seem to be nice quality. I hear that M. and doug makes them too.

We don't let our boys use them when not raining and guess what, around here we don't see a lot of the wet stuff, but I got them each a superhero umbrella from Toys R us and both are holding up pretty well. Had them for three years:)
