If you want to take a little shopping trip to Terrell, Tanger Outlet Center has awesome deals. Especially on tax-free weekend. I just received a e-mail from Osh-Kosh and they are having a Super Clearance this weekend. Old Navy Outlet is out there and has awesome deals for children' clothes.

It depends on how much you want to spend. When my daughter (now heading to 7th grade) was in K-2 I pretty much bought things from Target, Kohls, Penneys, etc. Right about 3rd grade she started getting her own ideas about dress and she only wanted things from Limited II. THEN, about 5th grade is when the Abercrombie and Fitch kicked in. Since then, it is A&F, Hollister and American Eagle. On top of that, the girls now all have Coach purses, Coach shoes, cell phones, etc.

Best wishes. Little girls are sweet, fun and expensive. Susan

Do they have to wear uniforms or regular clothes? If regular clothes, Wal-Mart, Target, Ross, Old Navy Clearance, & Burlington. If they're uniforms Wal-Mart online has the best prices.

A friend of mine told me about Zara. It is a store from Spain...there are only several in this country. Similar to what Banana Republic or the Gap is here. It is right outside Nordstrom on the first floor of the Galleria. There are women's and men's clothes too...the children's department is in the back. The clothes are SOOOOO cute and the price is unbelievable. Really worth the trip. My 8 year old loves the clothes. The colors and cut are great...without making her look like a mini teenager or Bratz doll.

Hi N.!

Check out Justice - just for girls. It is owned by Tween Brands which is the parent company of Limited Too as well.

I am the distict manager for the ones in the Dallas area. We have super cute clothes and you will have the best time in our stores. The ones that would be closer to you are in Mesquite or McKinney. Check out the website and see the locations to find out. We start at size 6 and carry some 6 slims. We also have a great Summer Clearance sale going on with stuff $2.99, $4.99. and $6.99!

Tax free weekend is August 17-19. If you shop early on those days it is best. Some places even do better deals for those early bird shoppers!

Let me know what you think about our store!

My daughter is going into the 3rd grade this year. We buy lots of her clothes at Children's Place. They have great sales and very cute clothes. We also shop at the Gap Outlet and Target. I'm a single mom on a tight budget and have found these stores to have cute clothes at an affordable price.
