I have really bad dark circles under my eyes and I have tried everything. Do you know what is a good product to use? I feel as if the dark circles makes me look older then what I really am. If someone can help me out, I would love the advise. I have tried so many over the counter products. I just want the dark circles to go away.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you very much for the advise. I am going out to purchase some of the products. I am also excited because I am going to get a facial as well. Great advise!

Hi J.,
The absolute best make up to use is Bare Escentuals. I use the foundation in "Fair" to cover my dark circles, don't get sucked into using "bisque, summer bisque or well rested" if your undereye circles are dark like mine. Bare Escentuals will change you skin forever for the better. You can get it at any of their boutique stores, (look it up to find a store at bareescentuals.com) or go to the stores Sephora, Ulta or online at qvc.com. After you know what you like you can buy it on ebay for even less but go try it out first.
What you really need though is something that helps the actual problem. You need to use medical grade skin care (not salon grade or grocery store grade).
Teamine Eye Complex is what my Estician reccomends, it runs at $65.00 but you can find it on the internet for about $45.00 if your lucky. It does work and it's the only thing I think that does.
Also you should be getting medical grade facials. I get them every 6 months because they cost $95.00 and we are on a budget, you should really get them every 6 weeks. That $95.00 cost is cheap too because most people charge $150.00 or more. My skin care lady is phenominal and I will give you her info. I would suggest seeing her because she does these facials down to the dermis but doesn't do anything too drastic which can cause even deeper hyper pigmenting, like chemical peels.
Her name is Lu Wang, she works at Widder Plastic Surgery in McClean Va. This is the number for the doctors office, Lu has a separate number but I can't find it right now, just call them and they will give it to you. ###-###-####
Good luck!

J.,
I use an eye product by a company named Elemis. Elemis products are costly, but highly effective. I used to wear a concealer which bareley concealed the dark circles. Now I may dab on a little concealer rarely on occasion if I am really getting dressed-up. I also try to get a spa-quality facial as often as I can; as Rachel said you should get them monthly. I get mine done in Temple Hills, Maryland at a Spa called "The Wellness Touch" . The woman who performs the facial is named Pauline and she is simply fabulous!!! Her number is ###-###-#### Good luck.

J., my favorite product for under-eye circles (also for blemishes of any kind, and even birthmarks) is a cover-stick called Physicians Formula (well, that's the brand I prefer, but other companies make this product too).

I should warn you that it's GREEN...which seems very odd, I realize, but of course it doesn't appear green after you rub it in (use sparingly!). Best of all, it's availabe at most drug stores and at Target -- so not expensive, and it lasts forever. I've tried this product on a lot of people in the course of producing film segments "in the field" (in the absence of make-up artists), and found it works with most skin tones, though I don't recommend it if you are African American -- if you are, I'd recommend the yellow cover stick suggested by another commenter. (then, after applying, just lightly brush your face with a compressed powder in your correct skin tone).

no more dark circles!
