Hi Ladies!
My sister-in-law and 9 year old niece will be baptized on Sunday, May 19th. Originally I planned to order handpainted ornaments for each of them on Etsy that included their name, their baptism date and a picture of a cross. I think I waited too late to allow time for the ornament to be made so I am looking for other ideas! Help! I want something special to mark the occasion that will go with them through the years...

I got an ornament for my Godson at Things Remembered and they engraved while I did some other shopping. I loved the idea of an ornament too! :)
You could get a nice picture frame at a Christian book store for each of them so that they could have a picture of the special day!
You could always call the Christian Book and Gift shops in your area, and inquire about gifts for those occasions, I'm sure there are plenty!! A necklace with a cross would be nice too!
My 10 yr old daughter and son were baptized recently. Following are several gifts they received. Bible, ornament, cross necklace, cross to hang on wall in room, Christian books, pewter ornament, money, picture frame (for baptism photo), bracelet and we gave them a cross ring with the date and initials engraved inside. Hopefully this will help.
