We have finally decided on a name. But we cannot agree on how to spell it, lol. Which way do you guys like the best? I have ask my parents any of course they dont even like the name, lol. It is either Landon or Landen? Also the middle name either Jason or Kristopher? I think Kristopher sounds better, but I am lost on the spelling.
Thanks for everyones opinion. I was completely set on Landon but my hubby wanted Landen. After writing it a couple times I realized Landon looks too much like London. So we are going to go with Landen. The middle name Kristopher is going to be spelled with a K because we are naming Landen's middle name after my BIL who passed away. Thanks for everyones input! Only a few weeks left till Landen is here! I cant wait!!!!!

I agree with everyone else .. Landon Christopher. Landon Jason doesn't go well ... too many "on's"
As for the spelling ... I would go with Landon as I would probably use Landen as a girls name. As for Christopher, I would go with a C. I am a HUGE fan of unique name, but if you are going to use a traditional name, why change it!
My opinion ... best of luck!

I like Landon Christopher better. and when it comes to the spelling of the middle name I have seen it both with the CH or the K. My parents went different than both and spelled my brothers name Kristoffer.

For what it's worth, my parents named me S. Ann (no "e" on either) and for my entire life, I have had to correct people on how they spell my name, since the most common form of both has the "e" on the end. I like my name and don't mind, but it can get frustrating at times...especially when I was in grade school and one of my teachers told me my name was spelled wrong. I had to take my birth certificate in to prove I knew how to spell my name! Hope this helps with you. Personally, I would go with the common forms. Good Luck!

I also like Landon Christopher with the spelling done the "classic" way. Having a funky spelling can be really tough to live with! I'm Teresa, but people always want to write my name Theresa - drives me crazy. If Theresa is the way my name was supposed to be spelled, I really wish my parents would have done it!

I like Landon Christopher. I like the traditional spelling. Our daughter, Ashleigh, has a non traditional way of spelling her name. Leigh is my middle name & it is my mom's, too. We wanted that in her first name. Go with what you like. Not what ours want. Our son is Noah & he has my husband's middle name.

Go with the more traditional way to spell Landon. Or he will always have it mispelled by others the rest of his life. We have a hard last name and it is always mispronounced and mispelled and it makes my girls crazy.
I like the Christoper better, and I like the traditional spelling too. My kids have more unique names, Shelby Elyse, Delaney Jordan and Mackenna Sydney but I tried to spell them as easily as possible to keep it easy for them and their friends and later on co-workers.

I love the name Landen Kristopher!!! I have a Brytney, a Dyllin and an Ava - I purposely spelled Brytney and Dyllin differently because that's just me. I have never been a traditionalist. My daughter actually thinks its kinda cool that we can never find anything personalized because it makes her "unique". I think using a "K" is very cool and besides, I never use my kids' middle names when referring to them (not even when they get in trouble - haha). Good luck and congratulations!

I too am very old school when it comes to names. I prefer the traditional vs. the unique/modern spellings.
That said, I like Landon Christopher.
Best of luck, and just for safe measure, have a girl name for a back-up. Unless you had an amnio, you can never be 100% sure ;) LOL!!

I like Landon better than Landen b/c I can picture the 1st being a boy and the second being a girl based on spelling. I'm not sure about the middle name either. Plus, Landon is sort rhymes with Brandon. But Brandon isn't spelled with an e. But of course, this is my opinion. It's up to you. Just know with creative names you always have to spell it or explain it. My oldest is Da'Mor Dante' (stresses are on the 2nd syllables) my 2nd is Daylen De'Andre (for 1st name, stress is on the 1st syllable). And everyone thinks he's a girl. My last son's name is Aaron Isaiah. It's just simple (but I like it).

I agree that Kristopher sounds better, but I'm more a fan of the traditional spelling - Christopher. As for the first name, it depends on how you pronounce it. If you're going for a "done" sound at the end of the name, I'd use the "o". If your meaning for it to sound more like "in", then use the "e". If I saw the name in writing, that's how I'd pronounce the two different spellings - phonetically I guess it would be Landone and Landin. Personally, I prefer Landen.

I prefer Landon Christopher. Kristopher looks kind of feminine to me (like Krissy, Kristin, etc), plus why misspell a classic name? The only time it'll come into play is when he has to correct someone who is assuming it's spelled the normal way.
I've had to spell my first name for people all my life and believe me, it's beyond tedious. And mine is spelled correctly! I can't imagine being a Jenipher or a Mykhel...what's wrong with Jennifer and Michael for heaven's sake?

Christopher or Kristopher either way. I've seen both. My nephew spells it with the K. (That is the first time I've seen it spelled with a K for a boy).

I too have to agree with a more traditional spelling I like the Landon Christoper.
I made the mistake of spelling my son's name Antoni instead of Anthony (after a dear friend in high school who passed away) and I have spent 17 years correcting everyone that it is Toni, not Tony and it is Antoni not Anthony.
It really caused a ruckus when he started school as a lot of kids teased him saying that Toni was a girls name.
Well, now he is 17 and when someone teases him about the spelling being a girls name, he simply says it is My Name and I am proud of it, his middle name is Christian.
Best of everything,
J. T.
