X.O.
If we ever have a girl, her name will be Elena Marie.
My niece's name is Elyse Marie, and I think it is also a beautiful name.
I have a friend who is due in a couple of weeks and is very stressed on finding the perfect name for their daughter. She has gone thru literaly hundreds of names but hasn't found one that she is just in love w/and she is not wanting to settle and than regret it later. She is looking for something soft & elegant but not too off the wall but not an everyday common name. Do you ladies & men have any good suggestions I can throw her way?
Thanks
Thank you guys :) keep the names coming I just called her over to my desk & showed her the list so far. There are very cute names mentioned & a couple that if I didn't already have my baby girl and a name for her I would have really considered.

I'm due in three weeks and will be having another boy. But, if I had a girl, the only name I had picked out was Olivia. Love that name!
my daughter is gwen (gwenyth, the correct spelling is gwynth but I wante a gwen not a gwyn) I get a lot of compliments about how beautiful it is and that its one of the names that you dont hear too often now. There is gwendolyn as well.
Not sure what you mean by "soft and elegant," but I like Genevieve, Amelia or Amalia, Greta and Naomi. I've seen some Aubreys lately. Unique, but not too "off the wall." Ainsley.
My husband named our daughter Madisyn. I spelled it that way and I love it! It so funny I had all these names in my mind for years then when I got pregnant I couldn't think of a single name I liked! Now 5 yrs later and my having babies time is over, I've got lots! Here are some of my faves, none of them are weird at all! ( at least to me!)
Vivian
Marilyn
Sydney
everley
Madeline
Reyna
evelyn
Olivia
ashtyn
and finally, Ann ( I love it and its simple and lovely)

My girls are Brynn Avery and Keely Mae - I love both! :) We were also looking for something a little more unique but not too weird.
We named our daughter Grace (Gracie to us), but I also really like Hope, Joy, and Faith. She will know the right when she sees her little Angels face!
If I had a girl I would have named her Avery RaeLynn. My sister's girl name she never got to use was Annika.
I also like Claire

Our daughter's name is Selah (Say-la) and we get tons of compliments on how pretty it is:)

Charlotte was the first name that came to mind. Not sure why. It is definitely soft, not off the wall, and not terribly common. I don't know if it is elegant though.
I love the name Finley :)
If I had a girl I would name her Thalia Rose, I just love that name.

My kids names are unusual because I made them up myself. I didnt go through a name book..Names are: Sparkle, Trinity, Treasure, India and Danni.
M.. Its a great name. :0)
I like my name, it is very unique and means peace maker. I've only heard of two or three others in my lifetime. C. Michelle (kind of weird to put forth your own name, but maybe she'll like it!)
I am naming my daughter (due in 3 weeks-YAY!) Lindsey Ann. We like it because it is traditional, but not common anymore at all.
We also considered Elise and I really like Molly and Leah.
My daughter's name is Raelee (pronounced Ray-lee, like Hayley, but with an R). If I had another girl, I like the name Hadley. Both of those names honor people in my family. Congratulations to your friend! :)
Melissa, Lydia, Elenore, Edie, Kathrine, Cecily, Cassandra.
I like molly, lily, Kate, Marion, esme, and Erin.
My daughter is Laci (Lay - see). I absolutely love her name. It can be spelled a variety of ways. It fits with your soft & elegant but not too off the wall. There is only one other child in my daughter's elementary school with the same name, so not too common either.
Her middle name is a combination of my mother's middle name and my husbands middle name Leeanne.
I also really liked the name Ivy, also soft and elegant.

Some names on my list for the next one are: Ellie, Marie, Claire, Sadie, Kelsey, Rose, Susanna, and Tess/Tessa. I wish your friend luck! I know how difficult/important this decision is.
I have 2 girls Dani and Mia, but I do love Lily and Lola
