Does anyone know if the Baby's Room Furniture Store on Hayes Road went out of business? Drove by there the other day, quickly looked and it looked like it had closed. Did it move locations? I called the # to the store and it said the number had changed. Called that number a couple of times and it rang and rang. I bought my first child's furniture there and loved it. Baby # 2 is on the way. If this store is closed, can anyone recommend a store in the Metro Detroit Area other than Baby's R' Us or Buy, Buy Baby. These stores are fine, I just like to look for something a little different.
They just moved, now on Hall Road. I think it was at Hayes, but not totally sure but definitly still around!
I just saw The Baby's Room store at Hall/Hayes (NE corner - right next to the furniture store), but didn't go in or really look to see if there was stuff in the store. I bought my kids stuff there too!
All of the Baby's Room Furniture Stores went out of business about 6-8 months ago. Many people who had bought furniture there never got it. They went bankrupt I believe. It was all over the news. Buy Buy Baby has some nice sets. We bought our first child's at Baby's Room and then ended up using Buy Buy Baby for our second daughters and really like it.
I heard that The Baby Room on Hayes was closing, but I think there is another location still open. My friend just bought a "big boy" racecar bed there.
You can try Art Van, Pottery Barn Baby & Kids, Ikea, and House of Bedroom (Kids).
we had to go to baby and kids bedroom for our kids furniture for the last one the first three we got theres at naked furniture. But we went to lovonia for the last. Sorry not very helpful i know like if your looking for bay furniture you may have to get it from buy buy bay or babies rus.
I believe it is now in the complex at Hall Rd. and Hayes, NE corner, near GArdner White. It is weird that they would change their number. bad for business...
