I believe the coverage starts at 4am! I got up for Charles and Diana's, Andrew and Sarah's and even Edward and Sophie's. It wouldn't seem right that I miss this one!
LOL! I guess some people will watch, some people won't. Some people like chocolate, some people like vanilla, right? We all have different interests. And that's okay by me. I loved everyone's responses.
I was such a fan of Diana's - I thought she was so beautiful and charitable - that I can't help but be interested in her 1st born's wedding. Plus, they are showing alot of footage of her and I love that's how I will always remember her, young and beautiful.
Plus, noone does pomp and gradeur like Great Britain.
Thanks for everyone's responses. Have fun whatever you do on April 29, 2011!

I was feeling like I should with my older daughter just like I did for Diana's. A special treat/memory. But she has school right when the actual wedding will be taking place. So I will DVR it and we will have a viewing party together that night.

I'm going to TiVo it. I wouldn't wake up at 4am to get out of a burning building.

Sleep is way too precious when you are a mom! I'm sure there will be plenty of pics and videos on the internet when I wake up.

But it *would* seem right for me to stay in bed until I absolutely have to get up at 6 a.m. :)
They won't miss me.
Besides, I've got an early-waking four year old. This has destroyed any desire to wake up earlier than I absolutely must.

Yep. Gonna stick a hat on and drink champagne too. A bit of harmless fun never hurt anyone. Besides, I'm originally from Australia and this is my future king and queen! I have a duty to watch ;-)

Yes. It's one of those rare events that you will remember who you
watched it with and where. Kind of like, watching the verdict of
O.J. Simpson, Diana's funeral, buildings collapsing on 9-11, Kennedy
assassination, man stepping foot on the moon, and more. BUT, this is a happy occassion to share with someone special, if you're lucky and have the desire. My turning-2 year-old grand-daughter is having a princess birthday party (her favorite character). I wish she was old enough to watch it with. Best wishes to the couple. I think Diana would be so pleased.

Ummm No. I'm sure it will be replayed over and over and over again as if it's the most incredible event of all time... not to disparage any of those who like that stuff.

Since I get up with hubby at 3.30 am to make his coffee I will stay up and see what's up. When Charles and Di married I was still in Europe and did not have to get up early to see it. However I got up early for the funeral. Sad day. Anyway I hope this will be a great and happy day and I will watch it. Cheers !!!

I watched Diana's wedding but at that time I was in Europe so I didn't have to wake up. For this one, may God bless them, but I am sleeping in.

Nope, I have more important things to do. Its just a wedding. People get married everyday. I don't see what the big deal is. It's not like we won't be seeing it for MONTHS after it's done.

Even if you miss it, it will be all over news and celebrity programs, and I am sure there will be a "special" at some point in the future with highlights. I am not sure if I can sit through hours of real-time royal wedding since I think most of it consists of waiting for something to happen.

I got up to watch Charles & Diana but, heck, I was 18, out of school and unemployed. This one I'm going to record and watch that night with my daughters.
Hope this generation will have happier endings than the previous.

Absolutely no desire to watch the wedding at all. I'm sure highlights will be replayed to death on the local & national news and entertainment news shows.
However, I hope you enjoy the watching the wedding. :)

that's my plan! and hoping I stay awake to actually see it! my 12 year old is trying to decide if she's going to bed now (i told her if she wants to watch it she has to go to bed the next 3 nights at 8 instead of 9 to make up for it!) or not. we don't have dvr so can't watch it later.

I didn't get to see Charles and Diana's since I didn't exist yet. I'll use the DVR since I've got work on Friday.
