She looks amazing and what an amazing moment.
"You look lovely. You look beautiful." Will said to Kate when he saw her. He did not watch her walk up the aisle. He looked like he was choking back tears when he looked at her for the first time. .
I keep thinking about how much his beloved mother loved him and his brother and how the boys must feel without her there.
She would be very proud.

The classy, beautiful woman's first born is getting married, so many of us who felt Diana was a wonderful person are happy for her son and look forward to seeing his wedding and hoping his married life is much better then what his mom had.
I can understand if some folks are not interested and don't want to watch.
Blessings......

ok fine I will admit it anyways, I watched it and had tears in my eyes! ;) Like a couple of ladies have already stated, there's been too much chaos, bad news, deaths and sorrows.......... I needed a fairy tale wedding such as this to shed light again. However gorgeous she is, he should've married ME. lol

Well, being British I, of course, am watching and I got my kids out of bed at 5.30 to watch as well. For me, it IS a big event - watching the marriage of the future King and Queen of my country! My husband however, is a complete republican and has stayed in bed and is famous for giving his car a complete overhaul and tune up with much engine backfiring during the funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales....

My rule is, if there's something on TV that annoys me, I switch the channel. I don't have to watch it, and neither do you, so don't get yourself so het up about the wedding commercials. Just push that button on the remote. At least we have remote now; think what it was like in 1981 before the TV remote controls became the ultra-sophisticated gadgets they now are.

I didnt have to get up when I woke up just after 1am,,but I did. I didnt have to turn on the tv, but I did. I didnt have to turn to the wedding, but I did. And its been sorta fun to watch. Borng at times, but fun enough to still be up now that they are married and off in the carriage. Im looking forward to the shortened versions later so my grand daughter can see it and we can giggle about the prince and princess and see the horses and hear the trumpets just like in her Disney videos with princesses. I am laughing at the hats tho. How funny. Its all been my choice and Im pretty sure I can live with it.

wow, some of you guys are just party poopers!! (and I mean that in a very loving way LOL)
I didn't get up at 1:00 but since I get up at 5:00 each morning to excercise on my treadmill and elliptical, instead of watching my normal programs on Netflix via my laptop, I did stream into the Today show to watch the procession and ceremony. Am I obsessed with it? No, of course not, but I do find it interesting. The royal family has so much rich history and their weddings are so different from the kinds we have here that it's hard no to enjoy all the pomp and circumstance.
Also, on a side note, watching was kind of special for me this morning. Back in 1981 when I was nine years old, my grandmother had taken me and my younger sister to the beach for a few days and I woke up with her and watched the wedding of Charles and Diana at 5:00 in the morning. Nineteen years ago today, my precious grandmother went to heaven so I couldn't help but think of her this morning as I watched Charles and Diana's son marry his princess :-)

all commercials annoy me. that stupid lizard with its inexplicable accent annoys me far more than the royal wedding.
i'm not into the wedding stuff at all, but the backlash complaining about it is every bit as obnoxious as the media fascination with it.
i tend to watch dvds or netflix so i don't have to put up with commercials.

I could care less. Royalty means squat to me. I don't get the hype, or the hype with any "celebreties" getting "married". I'm a normal person who does not fantasize about fairy tales. They don't exist.

I'd rather watch some sort of happy event as opposed to politicians bickering or lying, stories about people getting gunned down, or yet another story about high gas prices/unemployment/the down housing market. At least I know this news story has a happy ending! And, it's nice to know that two people are actually courting for a period of time and not getting knocked up and having a shotgun wedding!

Nope, not just you. I didn't even know it was today except for the headlines on Yahoo's website that I always check. I'm relieved that it is over so I can stop hearing about it. :-) I don't judge others for being interested, I'm just not one of them.

I'm the type of person who struggles to sit through weddings of people I actually know (Although they are sweet, I just don't have that high of an attention span. I seriously wonder how I will do at my own wedding when that time comes).
So ya, the wedding of two people who have nothing to do with my life... Not on the top of my priority list. I'd rather the news be focused on things that are actually important.

I don't really care too much... I can only vaguely remember Princess Dianna, so the wedding of her son isn't of much interest to me. Although, I actually DO like seeing the commercials and snippets of the wedding itself on TV... I love watching weddings, even if I don't know the people in them. Especially big, elegant weddings. :) I didn't drag myself out of bed to watch it, but if a clip comes on I watch it. I wish the new couple all the best. :)

I'm listening to music. My TV isn't even on.
I for one think that this wedding gives something positive to look forward to in a world that's glum in so many ways.
The English Royals know how to throw a wedding, we have to give them that.
You know this is all that's going to be talked about on television for some time to come so change the channel or put in a DVD. Listen to music.
I don't always sleep well either and have the TV on most of the night, but it's mostly for noise. I can't sleep if it's too quiet.
I don't flip through the channels or really care what's on.
The wedding is taking place. It's a huge event and it will be hard to escape it for a while.
Just my opinion. Hope you can get some rest.

I didn't stay up to actually watch the ceremony, but I have been keeping tabs on everything. With so much devastation and turmoil going on in the world, this wedding has been a bit of a relief, and what I mean by that is, it has been nice to follow something that carries hope and love, such as a newly wed couple and their future together. It has kinda balanced things out for me-

Oh, yes. I know I'm being completely cynical about it, but I can't see the marriage lasting. I mean...I hope it does...but they don't have much of a chance. The Monarchy has no affect on me. As I've said before, I don't know one British person who really likes the Monarchy. I'm sure you can tell, I'm just ready for it to be over with!!

I posted on my facebook status that I had to many friends who were up to watching this wedding when they could've been sleeping. I was awake, but I have a 3 month old and I STILL didn't watch it cause I decided to "sleep" while he ate lol. None of my friends who were posting facebook statuses about it have kids. They chose to wake up! lol
