Check Blockbuster they always have previously viewed movies for sale
Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know of a store that sells used dvds? (I live in Arlington Hts.) My son absolutely loves Scooby Doo. We do check videos out from the library and I have bought him some, but I'd prefer paying less and buying from some sort of resale show that sells dvds. Or does anyone know of a good online store to buy from that sells used ones? I know I can check out libraries that have used book sales, but that only happens once or twice a year.
Thanks a lot ladies!

Try Half Price Books, hpb.com (I think). I think they have a store in Algonquin. They also purchase used books, videos, etc. THat has become our favorite book store.
Yes, we love the Half Price Book store because we can take in books, cds, and movies we don't use any more and get money toward new ones. I have purchased their used dvds (for kids), ranging from $2-$5. I have also bought kids' dvds from ebay, as low as 99 cents (plus about $3 for shipping. if you've never used ebay before, just go there and type "Scooby Doo dvd" in the search box and see what comes up. Hope this helps!
Hi,
Try "disk go round" in Bloomingdale or www.half.com online. They sell discounted "used" merchandise VERY inexpensive. Shipping is usually more than cost of product and very reliable.
Garage sales are a good source also.
