Sometimes I put just a little T-shirt on my daughter so she will not get to hot and will be cool at the same time and sometimes i put pajama pants that are lightweight and a t shirt.

This seems like such a silly question! I do not have top sheets or blankets in my 9 month old's crib yet. Now that it is getting warmer, I am wondering what the best PJs are for her? I have been putting her in footy PJs, because I am worried that she will get cold since the air conditioner has been running. But I also do not want her to be too warm.
I am just wondering what other moms who do not use blankets sleep their little ones in in the summer time.
Thanks

We love Carters 2 piece long sleeved PJ's. I just bought some for my 9 month old at Sams for $4.50 for 2 matching pairs. What a deal, we bought 2 sets. I will say that I tend to buy them a size or 2 big, as sometimes the arms are a little tight. I will also put a pair of socks on sometimes, he likes his blankie, but it is never used to cover him up, just to snuggle with. The Carters store at Grapevine Mills may be another good place to check! ~A.~
My son is a hot one, so I put him in a short sleeve shirt or big onesie tucked into his long pants. Most nights he wears socks and I don't have to worry about the cover.
My son always wears socks. He's still wearing a long sleeve sleep shirt and long pants, but they are thin material. I almost put him in a short sleeve shirt and pants tonight but changed my mind. I do give him a blanket, but it usually ends up underneath him sometime in the middle of the night. I think they say that as long as you are comfortable, your child will be too.
My daughter has never slept under a blanket (I think its b/c she was a preemie and not really used to being covered up). I put on a shirt and capris (which are usually left over cotton pants from the winter before)...works well and I didnt have to invest in any more clothes. I close the vent in her room half way too just to make sure shes not getting too cold in her room. Good Luck with this issue.... I know we really want our daughter to sleep unde covers it would be alot easier.
my daughter likes onesies and sleep sacks
Mine is like a little furnace and he still likes his legs to be swaddled and has been sleeping in just a t shirt and swaddled legs he seems just fine all night when it's actually summer he'll prolly be closer to nekkid.
I boxed up our footed pjs. My kids are wearing long pnats and long shirt pjs. My son, who tends to get warmer has even been wearing long pants and short sleeves. We do not have the ac on yet though. And actually my daughter wore capris and a cap sleeve pj set w/ socks last night...she said she was "cozy!"
For this time of year I LOVED The Children's Place sleepers. They are awesome and wear very well. When it got warmer I put him in the TCP "tiny tees". I know they're not sleepwear, but they're so soft and comfy. I loved the one piece styling of both. He would not keep a blanket on, still has a hard time staying under covers, so while it was still cooler we loved the footies. TCP always has a good price on both of them too!
Hi M.,
I have always heard to dress them like you would dress yourself. If your house is cold enough for you to dress like that, then dress your child like that. This all depends too, on whether or not she will sleep with a blanket or not. My daughter never would, and still won't. So I would dress her a little warmer than I did myself, knowing I would have a blanket on. We haven't used our ac yet, but my daughter is doing long pants and short sleeves right now. I usually don't put her in shorts because she won't sleep with a blanket so I don't want her to be too cold.
Have a great one!

I use the sleepers from The Childrens Place. They are made of soft t-shirt material and have feet in them. My son kicks his blanket off so with the sleepers I don't have to worry about his feet getting cold.
