We recently switched from Allstate to Nationwide. Even adding a motorcycle and a jewelry rider, we're paying less than we did to Allstate. We have not had a claim yet. Knock wood.
After 7 years will Allstate and NO accidents in the past 9 years, we still paying over $200/mo for our coverage. I got a quote from Nationwide for about $175, but I have no experience with them and don't know anyone who uses them.
Anyone have them?
Ever had a claim?
Pleased with the outcome?
Do they regularly increase their rates?
Is the customer service generally good?
Anyone have a homeowner's policy with them?

I'm an insurance agent in AZ and sell Nationwide (its called Allied in AZ). I have many clients who have them and have never had an issue with either customer service or claims. You are smart to shop around. On average I save my clients $100 per month. Good luck.
I don't have them and never did, but when I worked for Personal Injury Lawyers in Maryland, Nationwide was one of the easier ones to deal with when it came to settling claims and always seem to me anyway to be fair.
I have all my insurance with nationwide. Home, cars, umbrella and 3 business policies. They have been EXCELLENT! I would highly recommend Nationwide.
i have not had a claim, but i love them. they have found discounts for me that i didnt know of and always are really nice. they were the best rate i found for full coverage
