Anyone Know Dr. Naylor or Dr. Waters in Flower Mound or Dr. Day in Denton?

Hey mama's! I'm still looking for a pediatrician who is really good and really close. I've narrowed it down a little. I need to decide between Dr Naylor, Waters and Dr Day. Seeing how my little guy had some gross motor skill developmental delays, I think Dr Waters sounds really qualified, but what about her bedside manner? Lemme know what you think- the good and the bad! Thanks!

Update- I can't get into Dr Day or anyone in his practice because they are only taking newborns! Anyone else you love????

What can I do next?

We've been with Dr. Day for over four years now and LOVE LOVE him. He is wonderful. I can not say enough good things about him. He is great with the kids (I have four ranging now from 13 to 1), he takes those extra steps, not medical but comfort steps. He makes follow up calls.

He is NOT an over tester or over medicator and I appreciate that about him.
His nurse Heather is amazing.....

If you have any specific questions please do not hesitate to contact me. Good luck on our decision.

We see Dr. Day. My daughter is only 8 months so haven't been there for long, but we like him so far! He sits there and listens to ALL my neurotic first time mom questions and answers them. He makes jokes about some of them, so if you are sensitive, then find someone else! Haha, he is very knowledgable and just kids me about being over protective and stressful about her every move. The other person who commented about Heather, his nurse, was correct. She is awesome and she is the one that mainly calls you back when you have a question. They have a very friendly staff up there at Cooks Children and take the time to make sure you understand everything about your insurance. I had some problems lately and Heather fought tooth and nail with them to get my daughter some needed medication. Anyway, I hope this helps. I picked him out of a few I looked at (none that you are asking about). He was a recommendation from family members that have been seeing him for years. Good luck on your search!

My daughter uses Dr. Naylor and likes her very much. She interviewed several pediatricians before her daughter was born and liked Naylor best. She has seen Dr. Waters once since she is in the same practice, and while she thought she was competent, she was much more reserved than Dr. Naylor.

We use Dr. Day and have for 3 1/2 years now. My husband and I love him as do our girls. His nurse is great as well. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I'm pregnant with my first and decided to go with Dr. Day. I just called his office though and they said he was only taking newborns as new patients. Check for yourself of course, but this should help narrow your decision down at least.

I'm so glad to hear about all the great experiences with Dr Day but we had a negative one with him that was a big enough deal for me to switch doctors. We now use Kids First & love it. (Dr Kelkar, Dr Conger, Dr Badaracco & some great NP's). My favorite part though is the totally seperate sick kids waiting room (has own enterance/exit) & if you want to check it out their site is http://kidsfirstpediatrics.com/index.php
Good luck!
