I recommend Christian Heritage too!
Both of my boys went to preschool at Christian Heritage (281 and Thousand Oaks behind Wells Fargo Bank). They loved it there an they staff were wonderful. They have long hours and few holidays. My boys are in public school now but I feel they received a great foundation from Christian Heritage.
We have 2 sons that started at Christian Heritage last year. Our oldest started in 4th grade and is currently 5th grade there and in band. Our younger son started in the preschool younger 2 yo class and is in the older 2 yo class this year. They both love it. I love the fact that despite the age gap that I could take them both to the same place for school. The preschool starts at 18 mths-5yo and the other school has kinder thru 12th. They are a small school but have been around for over 30 years. I went there in 3rd and 4th grade myself. They offer spanish for all age levels from preschool thru 12th. In addition they have sports opportunities through christian league for the elementary level thru high school. Art and computer are also part of the curriculum. Very well rounded educational environment. Also priced at or below other schools.
We absolutely LOVE our school. It's Buckner Fanning Christian School @ Mission Springs. It's located off of the Hwy 281 and Stone Oak area. The administrators will give you a tour and your children can "shadow" a class for a day to see if they like it. I just can't say enough good things about the school, the teachers and the overall feel of family that it has.
Blessings,
M.
