Walmart will only match exact brand to brand and for an exact price. Like if Lego's are on sale at another store for 10% off they will NOT match it. If another store has store brand mac and cheese on sale for $.33 per box they will NOT match it because the other store brand is not Great Value.
So, if the add for Turkey is for a name brand that Walmart has in stock then they should match it. I have had to argue with managers before though. I got sewing patterns at Walmart and wanted them to match Hobby Lobby's add for $.99 each. The cashier called the manager on duty and he said no, Hobby Lobby was not considered to be a "competitor" so they did not match with their sales. I got a $20 gift card out of it from the main store manager when I complained about the issue. I had bought many patterns before, Hobby Lobby would often run out of the ones I wanted and Walmart always had a lot of them. Even the ladies back in fabrics said the little manager was in the wrong.
So, to be specific, I would take the ads to the service desk and ask them specifically about each and every one of them so I didn't waste my time shopping and then having to keep everyone behind me in line waiting while I showed the cashier the coupons and then got refused and had to have the item taken off and out of the sacks.
Often Walmart prices are less than other stores even after the discounts are taken off. At least that is my experience when price matching.
