I found this website when my DD was born and I was looking for those really adorable flowers and headbands. I loved the website, and the quality of everything that I got off the site.
I saw some really cute handmade invitations on Etsy.com and never used this site before and was wondering if anybody bought anything off this site and what they think of this site?

I know several people who have their own etsy sites already, and I am preparing to start my own. The site is the ebay of the crafters world, just a lot friendlier for the sellers to ask the price of what their products are worth.
I havent but one of my friends does all the time and another sells things there. It seems pretty nice.
Yes I have. Several times.
Its great.
Each vendor/seller, is rated/has feedback.
I have my own Etsy shop with childrens things, and I have also bought alot on Etsy. Its a wonderful site!
I love it. I am a seller there as well as a buyer. Just look at the seller's feedback. If they are a new seller with not much feedback they still may be very good. If they don't ship your item, it's easy to get your money back by filing a paypal dispute. I have made over a 1000 purchases, and maybe about 10 of them were not that great.
Yes I have 3 times. I was happy every time.
I LOVE ETSY!! Pretty much is all that I can say. So many crafts and wonderful items.
Yep...A LOT!! I've only had good experiences.
I LOVE Etsy. I bought a lot of clothes and flower clips for lil bit's hair. I would advise just to check their feedback on their profile to see if they've had a lot of issues. This one lady I bought from ripped me off (her feedback was bad too, I just didn't read it first) but I use paypal so I got my money back. When in doubt use paypal lol. I have my debit card on the profile but don't link my bank account to it. I've never had any other problems though and I've bought a lot of stuff from different sellers... I can't believe the things some of the sellers make themselves.
I've bought a number of things and my husband has purchased several things for me -necklaces, children's clothing and Christmas ornaments. We got my MIL a beautiful "Grammie" necklace for Christmas this year. I love the site! You can look at the seller profile and see how many sales they've made and reviews and satisfaction percentages. My girlfriends gave me an amazingly beautiful Tree of Life locket from Etsy after my mother passed away -it's one of the prettiest pieces of jewelry I own. My husband gave me a gorgeous "mom" necklace of hand-stamped charms and trinkets last Mother's Day and for my birthday I received a gorgeous "Green Fairy" necklace from an artist on Etsy who I like. It's a great site!
Etsy is a good site for buying and selling home made things. Of course, just like any other site you take a risk of being disappointed in the item once you get it but I have been very happy with Etsy. My sister has her own shop and does well on it.
I love Etsy! I have bought plenty of baby headbands off Etsy. I have always had great transactions.
LOVE! Great group of sellers have yet to meet a mean or unhelpful one. I say go for it!
I have my own store on Etsy for my baby blankies, and I also use it to buy the labels for my blankies. I have had great luck with all my purchases. Best advise is to check the sellers reviews and to start a conversation with them if you have any questions! :) Hope it all goes well for you!! :)
I have had very good experience with my purchases from Etsy, but you are buying from an individual, so each seller will be different, as someone else stated read the seller's reviews and you will know if they give a good overall service and delivery.
I've bought different things, two of the sellers were extremelly, but I mean extremelly good and helpful, one of them stayed all night long doing my order so I could received them that same week.... other seller.... just did not care for my order and even when I asked for the delivery time etc, she would not email back and my purchase did not arrive on time for my event.
Good luck!
My sister in law sells handmade inviations, check out her site!!!

It is like ebay in the sense that you are buying from individuals so just be aware of that. Look at the feedback, communicate with the seller ahead of time, etc. If you see any red flags (bad feedback or slow communication) be a little cautious. I have bought numerous things and have been VERY pleased!
Have not ordered anything myself but I just got invitations in the mail from my friend who ordered off Etsy. They are bumble bee 1st birthday invitations that are super cute - she had no problems and was happy with them.
My cousin & a friend of hers use itsey to sell things & so far they're happy w/it in that respect. Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!
I love Etsy, and have had only good experiences. :)
I bought a few things. Every seller is individual, like ebay, so look at their feedback from other buyers. I've been happy so far and have not had a bad experience.
Although I have not bought from Etsy, my Dad has an Etsy store and has great luck. I'v not heard any negative stories from him.
Good site. Good luck!
