M.B.
My first son is a Mason, so that's a good name =)
My youngest son is Ashton Chase. My husband chose Ashton, I chose Chase.
I also like the name Hudson.
I'm having my 5th boy (no girls yet), I was just wondering if anyone had a favorite boy name they always wanted to use. So far I have a Mallory, Madison (before it became the most popular girl name), Christian, and Jadon. I don't really like the typical names like Mike or Steve, I'd like something that isn't completely off the wall but there won't be three of in his class either.
The only names we've liked as of yet are Gavin (means white hawk) and Mason (stonecutter).
If you feel like sharing that would be great!
Thank you all so much! We finally decided on a name!
Gavin Dean Elijah
Yep, we went for two middle names. My 3 year old really wanted Elijah, and since it means "The Lord is God" I thought it was pretty good too.
My first son is a Mason, so that's a good name =)
My youngest son is Ashton Chase. My husband chose Ashton, I chose Chase.
I also like the name Hudson.
I just had a baby boy and I love his name, it is not TOO common but it is also not crazy unique. You can use it too ;)
AUSTIN!
Congrats!
Hi, J....
I've got all girls, so I never got to use my favorite boy names:

Molly
How about
Chetan its a native american name that means life.
How about Riley or Grady?
J.,
We name our son Benjamen Alexander. That was almost 14 years ago. He has yet to have another child in the same class with the same name. There are way too many Aiden's out there right now. I hear it all the time in the store where I work. Here are some other names we had thought of:
Richard
Maxwell
Greg
Keith
Murray (middle name only)
Alex
How about these names?
Tristan, Dylan, Jude, or Connor.
We named our son, Nathan, which means "Gift from God". Happy name-searching!
To find out the most popular names go to the social security website ssa.gov and they list the registered names in order.
I like the names
Forrest
Shai (hebrew for gift)
Colby
Benji
Rocky
Hello! I too am a fan of more obscure (probably because mine is M....along with half the other girls my age in school). My son's name is Weston, and we have only met one other boy with that name (in another stateon the other side of the US about 16 years older than him :-)
Good luck!

Hi J.-
I hate to say it, but both Gavin and Mason are moving their way up on the popular name list. I have seen more than one at the park with my daughter and in the preschool I used to teach at. Same with Aiden (there have been six at one time in the park recently!) and any name that rhymes with it.
I don't have any suggestions, just help with identifying the popular names.
Good luck and congrats!
Hi J.,
Colton
Eric
Hunter
Storm
I love the name Gavin.
One that we bounced around before we knew we were having a girl was Ewan (means youth). I also really liked Damien (my mom was against it b/c of those stupid Omen movies) but it actually means "to tame"
My son's name is Leland and he always gets complements on it.
Our next son will be either Grayson or Paxton.
When our last two came home (my kids are adopted) here are some of the names we came up with:
Caleb
Cody
Daniel
Michael
Gabriel
Joshua
Christian
We ended up going with Benjamin Tyler and Cameron Michael.
I heard a boy's name that caught my attention the other day:
Thane
It means warrior or landowner
Here are some names I thought were cute and uniqe...Aiden, Malichi (soinds like mal i kI), Jeremiah,Damian
I would so love to hear which name you decide on! I love the names (dare I say for fear of boosting their popularity) Jonas and Declan. Seems with our last two, the names we were considering skyrocketed in commonness just as our kids were born. Anyway, those are the two names we're tossing around if this new baby is a boy (won't know for a few more weeks). Good luck finding just the right name for your new and blessed little guy!
Choosing a baby name can be so hard. I'd say I'm not very traditional while my husband is. Anyway, here are my suggestions ...
Ethan
Mateo (can also be spelled Matteo)
Dominic
Micah
Garren
That's all off the top of my head ...
Please let us all know what name you end up using.
These aren't original, but my boys didn't have any duplicates in their classes either:
Scott
Grant
and wanted to use Jacob.
Good luck!
We were going to name our oldest Chase, but he turned out to be a she (so we had to find a girl name)! My cousin named her son Jase. I also love the name Grant. My husband loves the name Nico.
Pretty soon you're going to have a basketball team, with 5 boys! =) Congratulations!
