Got lots of 'em. We had to find something to keep our gifted son's brain busy and out of trouble. Here they are:
Parenting websites I’ve used and liked:
1. Parent Center at http://www.parentcenter.com/
2. Don’t know what happened to the parent soup website, but ivillage is ok too at http://www.ivillage.com/pregnancy-parenting
Study/education websites:
1. Term papers and writing endnotes/bibliographies at http://www.easybib.com/
2.Geography and social studies at http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/web_games.htm
3. Math and reading at http://www.funbrain.com/
4. Fun School at http://funschool.kaboose.com/
5. Best site ever for history, science, and more at http://www.brainpop.com/ once you try the trial, you’ll want to subscribe.
6. Best free teaching site for middle through high school math and science by Salmon Kahn, an Indian student from MIT who believes that every child has the right to a good education no matter where they live or what their social status is. The site is http://www.khanacademy.org/
Don't know of any besides right here but I'll be watching your answers. I was wondering the same thing the other day.
Pinterest.com is awesome for everything! They have craft ideas, dinner ideas, organization ideas, recipes, etc. Anything you can think of is on pinterest!
