I recently made a ton of banana bread. I have glass loaf "pans" but I needed about six additional and got the aluminum ones - I am not sure, but can you reuse these? Have you ever reused?
Thanks!

What can I do next?

Reuse until they wear out, however cleaning the little grooves are sort of a pain, sometimes use a brush to get them clean, soak in soapy water and also put them in dishwasher.

Absolutely. As long as they maintain their shape and integrity, reuse them to your heart's content.

And they're recycleable.

Yep. My mom makes bread (dinner rolls really) and she uses aluminum pans all the time. She has one that is so beat up, I am not even sure it will hold the bread in, but she still has it. :)

You can re-use them, yes as long as they are not all rusty and mucky.

I bought some last December because I was making fruit breads for gifts and didn't have enough pans or money to buy good ones. I ran them through the dishwasher and am still using them almost a year later.

I reuse until they are too mangled and mishapen to work.

Wanted to give you another idea... My mother always made her banana, pumpkin and other breads in the small (approximately loaf pan sized) coffee cans. She would save them up during the year and then she had plenty to do a massive bake during the holidays. Bake rinse and recycle them!

When you cut the loaves in half, you get really cute, PERFECT semi-circle shaped slices. Or you can make wonderful round "sandwiches" with jelly or cream cheese or peanut butter inside.... Yum! Kids loved those!

Don't know what heat setting she used, but I'd guess you'd need to cook on a little lower heat for a little bit longer to get the center to cook all the way through.

Hope this helps!
