Hey my name is J., I have a 1 1/2 year old girl named Madison. Im a stay at home mom. I live in south toledo right by southwyck mall. My fiance works alot of hours a week and we only have one car. Soon he will be starting a job in TN and he will be gone alot, so Im defintely interested in the play groups thing. I would not be able to have it at my place though (long story) but am still interested. My fiance works till mostly till 4-6 pm everynight except saturdays and sundays. The car we have right now isnt doing so well, it doesnt have much life left in it. If I were to join this play group, I would only be able to do the things that are 5 (maybe 10) miles from my house, do to my car being a POS lol I dont get out alot, and I dont really have any friends, but would love to make some...I need adult time hehe. Let me know what happends!!

There is a great group on Meetup.com called the Toledo Parents Group....we meet 3 or 4 times a week for different events (library time, lunch at the mall, in home playdates etc...) as well as have a moms night out once a month! Would love to have you and anyone who wants to join us... Im also a 22 year old mommy with a 2.5 year old little boy :)

I'd be up for playdates too! I am a WAHM, so I am home most of the time and would love to meet new women and have my little Sammy interact with other children. I would be happy to host at my home in the Maumee/Springfield area.

I have just spoken to a another mom here who is interested. I was saying the same thing, rotating houses, maybe some holiday cards or crafts when they come around. Maybe once a month or so we can do like a "field trip" type deal. I do think that no matter what we do we should try to keep it as low cost as possible. I know $ is tight for alot of people (myself included) The only days that aren't good for me are Wed evenings and Sat mornings. I also work Mon-Fri until 4:30. Keep me posted, I am definetly interested!

I am a 26 year old mom of 2 little girls, one is 6 and one is 1. I have been married to a great guy for 7 years this past Jan! Looking forward to meeting you all!

Allyson is right...The Toledo Parents Group is great, there is such a wide range of activities to do. I also belong to another group also, called the Waterville/Toledo Stay At Home Moms (you can also find this one at meetup.com. Between the two, there is something to do almost every day of the week, and if you don't want to do something, all you do is RSVP No. There is nothing to it, but lots of fun!!
