I have been using my cell phone on vibrate under my pillow since my baby was born so my alarm wouldn't wake her up. I works like a charm for me.

There is a thing called Clocky that is an alarm clock that, after the alarm goes off and is snoozed, rolls away and hides, forcing you to get out of bed and look for it. I know people who swear by it.

There is a flying alarm clock that you can buy.
When the alarm goes off it is flying around the room
until he gets out of bed to catch it! It will not shut
off until it is returned to the base.
Check it out ....

Just a tip. Your husband's alarm (or at least one) should be set for a Spanish radio station. The foreign language will confuse his mind enough even in the dream state.
It sounds like he has grown accustomed to their sounds, and as a result, rendered them useless.

There are many good ideas that people have given. Let me add a few more. Put the alarm clocks on the other side of the room, where he has to get up to turn them off. Downside, they could wake you & your children up. The other option is the 'elbow' awake. If the alarm wakes you up, he gets the 'elbow' to get him up. Nothing could wake my ex-husband up, but the 'elbow'. Otherwise he would be late for work, since he slept through all the alarms. When he went on a training mission when he was in the Army and they where camping out, they tried to wake him up. They even made a dud go off right next to him, he did not even move or wake up. So I was not the only one he annoyed in not getting up when the alarm went off. On a postive note, my oldest son has the same issue. I put the alarm clock at the top of his bed with the pillow covering the speaker, turned up to the point where he wakes up. There are some alarm clocks out there that have two or more alarm settings on the same clock. This wakes my son up without waking up the whole household & neighborhood (if he has the window open)..with the extremely loud (volume up almost as loud as you can go) BEEP..BEEP...BEEP.

Hi Jessica,

Is it that he hears the alarms and then turns them off and falls back to sleep? If this is the case, I would move the alarm clocks as far away from the bed that you can put them. That way he will actually have to get out of bed to turn the annoying beep off.

Dear Jessica,

It's NOT the clock! NO clock will work with this man. Believe me! Years ago my brother pulled the same stuff. What worked was a cold glass of water being tossed on him. After that he actually heard the clock!

When people love their jobs, they hear their clocks and bounce up ready to get going again. My guess is that he does not like his job.

Ask him!

How about YOUR foot on HIS behind? Do you think that would work? LOL
Does he have an ipod? I have a cool clock radio dock for my ipod that is really nice.

Dear Jessica,
May I recommend the "Screaming Meanie". It costs close to $20 @ truck stops, but is WELL worth the $$. It has two volume controls ~ the softer sound normally wakes me, the louder sound could wake the dead just about. My husband drives tractor trailer & if he wants to take nap when he's pretty tired, he sets that alarm. Unless he hasn't slept well in days, it wakes him up. He has slept through it less than a dozen times in as many years of driving truck. The "Screaming Meanie" is battery operated. It is NOT a regular clock ~ you just set it for how many hours/minutes you want to sleep. As I said, the louder sound setting could nearly wake the dead ~ it is the loudest most shrill, piercing sound I've ever heard. The down side ~ it might wake your kids, too, if you keep your bedroom door open at night. ;) God bless, I'll be praying you.

I can't tell you how many arguements my husband and I got into because of his alarm clock! He finally got something that worked. A vibrating watch! You set it like an alarm clock and wear it like a watch and it vibrates when it goes off. It has helped us alot. He got it somewhere online.

My husband is the same way, lol! One thing he used to do is keep slapping the alarm to snooze, which drove me nuts. I'd have to hear his alarm go off 3 and 4 times every morning, then my alarm for my oldest son, and then I got up with my other son later. So I was waking up 5 or 6 times every morning! A bit exhausting. And I hated the buzzing. I had him switch it to music. But then he complained he couldn't hear it so he'd have it so loud it would just me awake. So I had him turn it down. I mean, he heard any alarm that went off. He just didn't want to wake up. So his next step was to move it to the other side of the room so he'd have to get out of bed to turn it off. If he tried to hit the snooze and sneak back in bed I'd literally kick him to get his behind up, lol. And the only thing that trained him to get up when his alarm goes off is me kicking him and making him get up. Oh, he hated that but he got his butt out of bed, lol!

Sorry if this has already been said but I can't read all the responses. My boss got me one from sharper image that sounds like an air raid and has a vibrating disk that you slip under your pillow. That is annoying but it works!
