hello L.,here are some suggestions .a dress up box is fun for all ages, story telling with puppets or props..tents made out of sheets and pretend lots(play camping or the 3 bears).singing interactive songs.play find the items in the room or in a picture.play touch your nose touch my nose, mom stands up baby stands up.mom sits down baby sits down.you get what i mean?tape a large paper on table top and draw, color,or finger paint.my older kids would love playing along.play music and when the music stops we all fall down.build a house from card board boxes.take a board and use it as a ramp to send play cars down.when i was cooking they would stir blocks in a bowl or play drums on pots and pans.buy large paper cups and when you say go he can toss balls to knock them down.and he can help hand them to you to do it agian.stacking blocks works as well.sit on the floor open legs so your feet touch his and roll a ball back and forth.play flash cards learning is great fun.blow bubbles.go outside and collect sticks and leaves and glue togeather a tree an construction paper and put it up where he can see it.gather items from around your home and learn different textures soft ,rough, furry and warm or cold.one time try all different smells you could use spices, flowers, food or candle scents.take some of these and come up with your own ideas.just use your imagination and play and have fun.i could keep going .i guess you can see i played with my own kids just alittle.some of the best activities are free and you just have to come up with them.i love how much they love to learn and its all about building creativity and fun and laughter.

HI L.. You have some great suggestions. Don't forget the most simple ones of all...pat a cake, and this little piggie! Those are my 11 month olds favorite things. He also loves to be tickled or when I make faces or play peek a boo. Crawling on the floor with him and saying "I'm gonna get you" is a good one too. As long as it's with mom I don't think he really cares. Have fun. :)

My son will be 13 months in 1 week. I play with him constantly! What I do is keep his many many toys in the spare room, and every night we take out some and play together. This way he is not as bored with his stuff since he doesn't see the same things evey day.
We play with his cars, and make driving noises. We play with his mega blocks and wagon and practice putting them in, taking them out.. put together and pull apart.
aside from playing toys, we watch dvd with nursery rhymes. And he is my shadow. Whatever I do - he does.
He helps get the laundry out of the dryer. He helps take the mail out of the box. He holds groceries while we are shopping.
I take him to the park, I take him out for walks. I love letting him run around in the grass and he loves throwing the ball.
Everything can be interactive. Just make the most out of your everyday life.
