My daughter is 8 months old she has been taking formula olny for 6 months. Now she is not wanting to finish her formula anymore I am concerned that she is not getting enough liquids in her diet. She has not lost any wieght yet I am not wanting to wait until it gets that far. She weights 19 lbs. Her daily deit is as follows and she has been eating this diet for at least a month and a half now.

Morning- 1 4 oz Jar of baby food
3 hours later- 6oz bottle formula
lunch 1 4oz jar baby food and snacks (gerber puffs etc)
3 hours later 6 oz bottle formula
3 hours later 6 oz bottle formula
Dinner- snacks (gerber puffs etc) and 2 4oz Jars of baby food
bedtime- 6 oz bottle formula

Now she is not wanting to finish her bottles during the day but she always finishes her bottle at bedtime. She also has been taking water and juice from a sippy for a month and a half she takes that when she is having snack and she does not even take an ounce. Please HELP!!! Thank you so much!!!

She sounds very normal to me. She is eating, and drinking fine. You mentioned that she is also drinking water and juice from a sippy cup but that it is not enough for what you think she should be drinking; but it sounds like it's enough for her. Try to weight her in the mornings every day for at least a week and see how she is doing. She is eating very well, so she is going to drink a little less. Don't worry so much, what she is drinking is plenty for her. Why don't you call her pediatrician and see what he/she tells you? That might give you a better piece of mind.

That sounds about right for the amount of formula. When she goes in for her 9 and 12 month visits, they will check her growth.

I would not give my kids juice. It's not healthy for them or their teeth. We get brainwashed into thinking that it's full of vitamins, but it sets kids up for a sweet tooth, and tooth decay. Apple juice? No. Apple sauce? Yes.

Is she getting constipated? That is the first sign of not getting enough liquids. Sounds like she is getting plenty of nutrition, and the solid food will take longer to digest, so her tummy is full longer. As long as she's pooping, I think she's good.

What about putting her formula in a sippy cup ? That way she could have it with her snacks also if you are wanting her to get more formula. Then you could cut down on the juice.

My daughter was the same way (she is almost 10 months now). I started giving her the bottle right away in the morning instead of the baby food or yogurt and made sure she had one before bed. She'd usually have another one late afternoon (so a total of 3 per day). She prefers finger food over a bottle unless she's getting sleepy. Just follow her lead...as long as she's getting at least 20 ounces of formula or breastmilk per day she's getting all the vitamins/nutrients she needs (I would try to stay away from juice until she's closer to a year though or water it down to 1/4 juice and 3/4 water).

It is normal as they start eating more solids for them to take less milk. If you are concerned about her health talk with her doc, but I seem to remember this being about what my little ones ate and drank at this stage.
