I'm not sure if I'm on the right track with this, but I'll give it a go. I have had stents for kidney stones before. Is that what you're talking about?

If you have a stent for kidney stones, those do hurt. There are meds that will help with that. Your doctor would know which meds to prescribe and which ones are safe for pregnancy.

Are you saying that your insurance will not cover you going to see your urologist? If that is true, then you need to talk to your insurance company and find out who they WILL pay for. A stent is a foreign object in your body. Your body does not want it to be there. It is currently serving a purpose, but in most cases is not meant to be left there indefinitely! Most of the time it needs to be removed as soon as it can be. If it isn't, it will cause an infection. Your insurance company is not going to want to pay for that. An office visit is much, much cheaper.

It doesn't sound like you ahve all the inforamtion you need. Better talk t oyour doctor and your insurance company and get this straightened out.

Given you are pregnant you should not mess around around! Pain indicates something is wrong. Also, you have a foreign body in you which I think could make you prone to infections. Having an infections could be devestating to the the baby. Pay out of pocket if you have to. Having a baby with potentially life long issues would be far more expensive than going to the doctor. Best of luck!

you need to find a urologist that takes your insurance and go to them.

you need medical care. Where is your OB/GYN in all of this?

Wow. :-( Yoru scenario absolutely requires ongoing medical care. You will have to talk with the hospital/clinic social workers about affordability, work out plans with billing, and/or find subsidized care. I'm so sorry, but simply not seeing the doctor isn't going to be a realistic option. Even if it means you end up filing bankruptcy for medical bills, get the care you need today.

This is something you really need to talk to your doctor about. Some stents are placed permanently, true, but there should not be 'horrible' pain. (I've had a stent in for a week or so after a kidney stone removal; it was irritating and uncomfortable, but nothing I needed anything more than Advil for). It may be that the stent has moved or something is infected, do not risk the health of yourself and the baby--- GO NOW to the doctor. You will have to pay out of pocket for it, which will stink, but it's better than having something more complicated and dire than a medical bill to pay off.
