2 Flowers from the Same Person for the Same Question?

I answered a post a bit ago, and was going through my flowers just now and had a flower from the same person twice for my answer, is that some sort of weird glitch or what? I double checked by clicking on that persons name in both of the incidents and it is the same person not a copycat name. Have you guys had that happen?

I always thought it would be nice to be able to send more than one flower for some of the "favorited" answers but it's not normally possible.

So What Happened?

I clicked on the name after both of the flowers and it's the same person, all of her question history is the same. It's really weird.
*And I have seen that person that answers her own posts, she has 2 accounts because the question history is different.
*Not that I'm even anal about this BS, but I'm extra bored right now waiting on America's Got Talent to come on, and I just fell upon this dumb revelation.

Sometimes when I click on a flower it doesn't seem to go through so I click on the same flower several times until I know that it is sent. (you know it was sent when "send a flower" turns a different color) This seems to be a glitch - maybe it unknowingly generates more than one flower???

Yes, I have had that happen a few times recently - I just think it is a glitch.

Okay, maybe I am just not that observant but will someone please let me in on who this "poster" is that is answering their own questions ... so confused.

I have seen a few examples where a person responds to their own post, but words it as a SWH...so maybe that IS the glitch that Jo W. refers to in another answer.....
Theoretically, someone could have several accounts (created with several email addresses) and using the exact same handle and/or name, location etc. and that might account for what you are describing.
Then there are the multiple accounts (different names, handles, etc.) that people seem to trot out when they want support, validation, extra flowers, help reporting an item.....that's the more "sinister" use of several accounts.
It's funny once you KNOW them for sure....certain "people" ONLY appear when their more well-known alter-ego needs a boost on an opinion, etc. But sometimes they slip....and forget....and copy and paste directly from O. of their "secret buddies" answers and present it AGAIN as a separate answer... Funny, really!
And it WOULD be nice to be able to send a BOUQUET sometime, wouldn't it!

My phone does this all the time. Like if I am on my phone and I give someone a flower when I log on at home it doesn't show even though I can get back on my phone and it shows I gave a flower. Sometimes I don't realize I gave a flower on my phone so oh my god I click send a flower again.

This platform has a mess of glitches in it. Sometimes when I post from my phone it posts it twice.

Some people click update on a question and what they type up in the what happened box shows up as an answer. Not an issue with the people, it is the platform.

I think it's because she has two different accounts and clicked on your post from both accounts.

I know that I responded to a question once, and when I hit "post" I didn't think it was going through so I hit "post" again really fast. When the page loaded, I saw my post. It had exactly what I typed, then the word "updated," then exactly what I typed again.

Maybe the same thing happened with the flowers?
