My daughter was recently diagnosed with chromosome 18q deletion syndrome. Does anyone have a child with this syndrome?

What can I do next?

There is a group called Mothers United for Moral Support (MUMS). They have chapters in almost every state. There is also a group NICHY. (I think that is it but cannot remember the entire accronym.) Try a search with the terms National Clearing House Genetic Disorders. That might get you to them. Both of these groups have information about families and MUMS can find you someone to hook up with to talk. It depends on how families are registered with them.

I'm sorry I haven't. Try asking the pediatrician or go online and find a support group. Good luck and keep us posted
