N.M.
My 10 MO will not eat from a spoon either. She will try if I let her hold it but that doesn't work out, so we've completely skipped the traditional baby food. Happy baby freeze dried yogurt and/or veggie puffs and baby mum-mum rice rusks are all melt in your mouth finger foods and some days that's all she will eat. For a while I was using one of those net-on-a-stick feeder things by nuby with some avacado or sweet potato in it. I am always very worried about choking, but now that she's got 6 teeth usually if I give her mushed up tiny pieces of something i'm eating she'll eat a good bit. MD's advice is as long as she's getting plenty of milk and growing and developing as she should, there's not much to worry about the first year. Just give her whatever she'll eat (safely)so you can get some sleep at night, something will work. You can work on table manners next year when you're rested ;)
