anyone know of a playgroup for 1year olds? I live near TCU, and my son is ready to play!! he does not walk yet, but gets into everything. Im a full-time student at UT Arlington, and would like him experience playtime on my off days. any ideas?
I am a part of the SW Fort Worth Moms group and it's been alot of fun. We get together several times a month and play. I've met some great moms in this group. So check us out!

You could check out if there is a Mom's Club in your area. I was in the Mansfield Mom's Club when both my kids were that age. We had a great time and have met some really good friends.
Hi there.
I have been involved with a great group of moms that meets at Harris Hospital. They meet weekly on Thursdays - the class is called Terrific Toddlers (ages 1 and up) and Incredible Infants (3 mo -1 year). It is $10 a month and well worth it for the information and the social time with the moms and babies. The group tends to be social with occassional outings as well. If you want some more detail let me know.

Check out www.meetup.com. There are several moms groups. I'm a member of Fort Worth Foxy Mamas and The SW Fort Worth Moms Group through meetup. Both groups have lots of activities throughout the week that are a lot of fun and the moms and kiddos are great! We have in-home playdates and activities around town, like the zoo, botanical gardens, parks, etc. Oh, just so you know I wouldn't recommend The Fort Worth Hip Mama Meetup Group. It used to be very active, but at this time they don't have any meetups, even though the organizer is still taking new members. Good luck!
