Recommendations for a Pediatric ENT in Rowlett Area?

I need to find an ENT for my son (20 mos) and I live in the Rowlett area. I am willing to drive as far as the Presby Dallas area...that is where his pediatrician is...but I would prefer to have one closer to me. Any ENT docs that you like or even dislike so I know who to avoid would be great.
Thanks!

Hi S.,

We took our daughter to Dr. McClay as well. She had tubes put in when she was 10 months old and it has been great. So, "Ditto" to everything the other mom said.

My cousin and both of his children go to Dr. Samuel Antony. He has an office in Rockwall, but also has some appointments near Baylor Garland (Walnut and Shiloh) - ###-###-####. They really rave about him. Their son had to have some complex procedure done to his sinuses and they are very pleased. I am having inner ear problems and I am going to go to him as well.

So, while I can't say enough about Dr. McClay, he is pretty far for you and Dr. Antony may be a good option.

We went to Dr. Camille Graham in Rockwall. She is an associate of Dr. Ripp. On a personal note, I worked as a nurse at one of the hospitals used by the ENTs in this group and Dr. Graham has THE BEST bedside manner with the kiddos. The others are great - just a little stoic. Dr. Graham performed my son's adenoidectomy/tonsillectomy/myringotomy when he was 3. This was after trying other options. Her number is ###-###-####. Blessings!

S., I am 53 years young and have had a lifetime of ear, nose and throat problems. In the last 5 years I have been going to Dr. Peters of Dallas Otolaryngology Associates at Medical City Dallas. This is the finest doctor I have ever had. His experience and knowledge surpass every doctor I have ever gone to. His demeanor is very calming and personal. I have had fewer problems since going to him than I have ever had. I encourage you to try him as he is the best in the business in my opinion. His # is ###-###-####. C.

Several of my friends have used Dr. West. They have an office in Rockwall, Wylie and Forney.

The other Dr. in the office is a bit less "user friendly" but I have even made an appt. to see Dr. West for some issues I am having.
I highly recommend him. Good luck.

We really loved Dr. John E. McClay! We had used another doctor first for our now 3 y/o son who preferred to have him on medicines for another year and a half instead of actually addressing the problem (enlarged tonsils and adenoids, persistent fluid behind the ears). Dr. McClay listened to our concerns, tried some treatment options, but as soon as these proved to not work he opted for surgery. This was a last resort. He's not the kind of doctor who thinks surgery is the answer for everything and only does so when absolutely necessary, especially when it comes to young children. He's not in Rowlett but has privileges at Children's Hospital in Dallas. He's usually found in his new office in Plano. I would say he's well worth the drive. His bedside manner with our son was superb as our son was very timid with doctors after so many health issues since birth. I highly recommend Dr. McClay. His number is ###-###-####. Good luck!!!

Hi S., I don't know if you would want to drive to Presby Plano at 190 and Parker, but Dr. Greg Rohn is absolutely wonderful, my 10 year old son didn't mind going to see him at all, he had ENT problems from 6 months until 5 years when Dr. Rohn put another set of tubes removed his tonsils and adnoids, since then we haven't had any problems. He has wonderful bedside manner and very personable. We love him.
