I am a stay-a-home mom in Franklin, to two amazingly sweet, funny and bright children. A son who is 10 in the 4th grade and a daughter who is 7 in the second grade. They go to Poplar Grove and I volunteer there and work with the PTO.

I have been married for 12 years to the man of my dreams. He is my best friend, we work together, have a good time and I am grateful to be with him on this journey.

I am the only child of 83 year young parents who live about 45 miles away, we see them everyweek and talk most days. I have always had a close relationship with my mom and dad. They are my best friends too, they get me (smiles). They adore their only two grandchildren and they love my husband, the son they never had.

I have a lot of friends, people who I have history with, stories with, we just live life together. We go through everything together, we are real and honest with each other and we love to talk, laugh, eat and have a good time.

When I got married, I was 40 and we had to hurry up and have babies, so I stopped working to get ready for that. After a while when the kids got in school and older I started missing a career, but not working outside of our home. Last year I started a business in our home hand-making decorative wall signs with quotes, sayings and scriptures. I’m in the Local Business Reviews under “Mom’s Sign Company.”

I have been a member of the Greater Nashville Church for 17 years and became a christian then and my whole life changed. That is what enables me to be able to say all the sappy things above (smiles).
