I am 44 plus. I went thru perimenapause basically 8 years before I got pregnant with
my daughterand it resumed maybe a year after which changed this January/Feb. My last
period was in January. When I was due in February I had a bad cold for a week by that point. I saw a pa in March and was diagnosed with severe bronchitis and sinus infection. She told me almost 1 month late that it was due to my age. I have not really had a period since. I have had brown colored and thick but it is only there when have gone to the bathroom for a day or 2, even had it only 2 bathroom visits enough to make me think I need a pad to have the pad stay clean. My breasts are sore and sensitive ouch when I take a bra off.
What has me looking for help/advise/other menapause things is today and yesterday, I feel like my tummy is heavy in lower part and it feels like kicking yet it stops when I
put hand there. I am overweight too. I don't know if it is part of the changes I am going thru or if I am possibly pregnant and the pa really considered it.
What symptoms have you had or having? Is this just in my mind and it is the changes I am going thru?
I would just go ahead and take a pregnancy test. I had a baby at 42, it's not impossible, but I'd say if you were pregnant, you'd probably really know it by now, this would put you pretty far along.
I would say for sure do a pregnancy test first and then you can rule that out. Next you can go to webmd.com and search menopause. this will give you all the symptoms and some suggestions to ease your symptoms.
Did you end up taking a test? ...sorry, just saw your other response...
