Problems with Formula

My 1 year old was on Similace with soy for the first 7 months of his life, he was diagnoses with refux also, so he threw up alot. When he was 7 months old the dr. suggeted putting him on Alimentum. When I switched him to the new formula the throwing up stopped but he's had diarea for the past 3-4 months; sometimes up to his back. He's been to the dr's atleast 8 times for this. First they said it was teeth, then cut back on fruit and now they finally told me to take him off forumla and put him on pedialight for 7 days then switch back to...

Advice About Hypoallergenic Formula

Has anyone had success getting an infant to drink Allimentum? And/or has anyone had an infant who had problems with it? My breastfed 6 month old is allergic to milk/soy and our only formula option is hypoallergenic...she will drink 2 oz at most of this stuff - in the past she has rejected other formulas and ultimately we determined it was b/c they didn't agree with her (i.e. made her violently ill in a few cases). I hesitate to force the issue for fear that she'll negatively react to larger quantities of this stuff. Any advice is...

Similac Alimentum Help.

My son is now 6 weeks old. He has been on Alimentum since he was about 3 weeks old. His doctor never really explained anything about it to me, she just said that's what she'd like him to be on after I brought him in complaining about him projectile vomiting a few times. She never tested anything. She keeps tellling me to keep him on this Alimentum. My son hardly sleeps, maybe an hour or so per night/day, not even car rides put him out. He doesn't fuss or anything, he just simply won't sleep. He also constantly eats. He's eating 6 ounces...

Does ALIMENTUM (Ready to Feed) Help ECZEMA?

My daughter has eczema, I breast feed and I know that the eczema is related to food allergies. I have been on a restricted diet able to eat only rice and meat with which she clears up. But with my restricted diet I'm afraid she is not getting enough vitamins. HAS ANYONE SWITCHED TO ALIMENTUM (ready to feed which is corn free) AND ECZEMA CLEARED UP COMPLETELY??

15 Month Old on Alimentum

My 15 month old daughter is back on 100% Alimentum after trying whole milk, soy milk, rice milk, and special toddler formula. All caused severe constipation and personality changes (except toddler formula which she simply refused). We go back to her GI in a week, so hopefully we'll get some answers. Just curious if anyone else has ever gone through this and what the outcome was. We are suspecting food allergies (can't do definitive tests until she's older) and are just not sure where to go from here. Anyone else been through this or...
