Switching Formula....a Strange rash...and Baby Dandruff???

I have 2 questions. The first pertains to switching formula. I previously asked about brands and types of formulas to add into my 5 mo old's breastfed diet. I was giving him soy because I thought it might be he easiest to digest and based on all the responses I received, I've decided to switch to Good Start. Am I supposed to switch it gradually(like when switching dog foods??) or can I start the new formula right away? How will I know if he's allergic to dairy? I only give him 2-3 ounces every 24 hrs in addition to his breastmilk. I do this...

Need Help with Baby Eczema- Does Hypoallegenic Formula Help?

My 4 month old son has eczema all over his arms, legs and cheeks He's got these big red splotches all over and doesn't seem to be going away. The doctor said to try hydrocortisone 1% and use lots of lotions like Aquaphor. Baths only every other day and not much soap. I use fragrance free -dye free detergent. She said to try a hypoallergenic baby formula for him. Since I started working my breastmilk supply has gone down significantly. So he's fed a lot more formula now. Seeking Recommendations for All-natural, Organic Baby Products

I have just begun reading Gorgeously Green and was APPALLED over the label-reading I have done on the baby products in my home. I can't believe my beloved Cetaphil cleansers and cremes contain alcohol and other no-nos!! My youngest son has severe food allergies and the associated skin conditions that come along with allergies, so he has needed heavy creams to deal with the ecsyma. I don't have the time (nor money) to start researching and trying different product lines that the book reccommends. I am hoping some of you have suggestions...

Soy Protein Allergy

I have an 8 week old son who is solely breastfed. He is in the 97% for weight and 50% for height. I cant help but think, however that he is allergic to something that is being passed through my breastmilk. He has several bouts of crankiness and has a rash on his thighs, upper back and face.
