Hi. Anyone else out there try to buy cold medicine this season for your toddler and finding that evertyhing has been taken off the market for cold medicine for kids under 6? Giving a Preschooler Daily Allergy Medication

My Doctor has prescribed my son (who will turn 2 in 2 days) Zyrtec to take daily. have other moms had good experiences with their preschool kids on Zyrtec? My son has very frequent runny nose/congestion which then turns into secondary infection (ear infection). My mom thinks I should get him allergy tested. Is that a practical thing to do at his young age? Any body else had their 2 yr old allergy tested? What then happens after testing?
