I am needing some advice with my sons health. He is 3 years old, will be 4 in August. He has allergies to food, pets and outdoor irritants. He also has asthma. It seems like he is always sick. Claritin vs Zyrtec for 3 Year Old

Just curious on what other moms think of claritin or zyrtec for a child. My daughter will be 3 next month and we are trying to figure out what works best on her. Her allergies always turn into an ear or sinus infection. Does claritin make anyones kids sleepy? Claritin and Other Allergy Meds

My son often gets runny nose/cough symptoms and my pediatrician has recommended that I try putting him on Claritin to manage those symptoms. I am reluctant to put him on medicine for prolonged periods of time. Dose anyone have information about any potential harmful effects of long-term use of allergy medicines in toddlers? Also, any suggestions of natural remedies that have worked would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Advise on 7 Year Old Coughing at Night

HI everyone, I need some advice. My son goes to bed about 8pm. At some point almost every night (sometimes at midnight , sometimes 3am) he starts coughing….and coughing…and coughing. I will go check on him and have him get a drink of water, which does not help much, and then I will put some Vicks on his chest and tuck him back in. This is the only thing that has seemed to help with the coughing. He does not have a cold and I do run a humidifier in his room at night. Has anyone had this happen? And what can I do to help him so...
