Hair Falling Out???

I am 36 years old and about 2 months ago my hair has been coming out in the shower by the handful and another handful while I am blow drying and styling my hair. I immediately stopped coloring my hair and began using Nioxin a shampoo for thinning hair. It has lessened the amount a little but hasn't stopped my hair falling out. Only a few people have noticed but you can really tell if you touch it. Also, the only medication I take is BC pills and I stopped taking those about six months ago. Dandruff in a 3 Yo

My 3 yo daughter has dandruff, sometimes so bad I can see it across a room. Her peds said use selsun blue shampoo but that stinks so bad. I can hardly hug her after I wash her hair because of the smell...and it hurts her eyes in the tub. Any advice?

Help for 5 Year Old's Dry, Itchy Scalp

Hi Everyone! My 5 year old has has scalp issues for quite some time. She always had cradle cap as an infant and it just turned into contact dermatitis as she got older (patches of dry flaky skin on her scalp). That seems to have gotten better. I see some patchy stuff on her scalp but it's nothing that is flaking at all. She is itchy on top though...I have checked for lice so I know it's not that. My son has had “Alopecia” for over a year now. It started with a small patch of hair that completely disappeared at the back of his head. Daughter Losing Hair

Our 7 1/2 year old daughter is losing her hair. As I comb her hair after a bath/shower so much of it comes out. She has blonde curly hair, and it now looks thin and terrible. We took her to the doctor, he said it might be Alepecia (spelling) and he also took blood, which came back negative. So I have a dermatologist appt on June 22nd.
