Nystatin & Diarrhea

We seem to be in a downward spiral of maladies! Three weeks ago, my 6 mo.-old was diagnosed with Thrush. (Which in itself is weird since he's on the older side for Thrush, and I'm no longer nursing.) We were given Nystatin, and after now our third round it has proven to be ineffective. During all of this, he also developed diarrhea, and subsequently a HORRIBLE diaper rash that we're finding hard to battle. Several of you have suggested Gentian Violet, and I've heard it's messy. 18 Month Old W/ Sensitive Skin? Allergies?

My little guy was diagnosed with super sensitive skin (called uticaria) by an allergist. For months he has had a rash on his chin. It used to start looking red after he ate and then would go away as soon as his skin was clean and dry but now it is pretty much there all the time. It is red with little red bumps on it. It doesn't seem to bother him but it looks terrible. I have tried using Aquaphor, Vaseline, Gerber's Teeny Faces, and have noticed no difference - in fact it may be making it worse. Unusual Rash on 13 Month Old

My son has a rash. Looks like a sunburn. He hasn't been outside in a long time so it's NOT a sunburn. Yesterday evening it was in his arm pits, the fold of his elbow, his ears, back of his neck, his back and parts of his torso. Now, most of that is gone, however, it's everywhere else today. His nose, eyes, cheeks, chin, fingers, arms, lower legs....... No fever, the rash looks like a sunburn, it does itch him (he's 13 months old and is extra squirmy, and rubs it all the time) where he is rashy -his skin is warm, he has NO fever....
