Entertaining a 3-Month Old?

I have just recently begun staying home with my beautiful 3-month old daughter. She is amazingly alert and doesn't take very long naps during the day (maybe 30-45 minutes). I am a scientist at heart and not very creative. I had no idea how much free time I would have with her...trying to entertain her!!! Please help me. What advice can you give? I run out of ideas very quickly. I don't like leaving her for long periods in the swing/bouncer seat etc...(not that she likes to stay in them long either). I like to save those for when I really...

Brand New 3 Month Old to My Family Daycare---unusual Feeding Schedule

First three days of caring for precious 3 month old baby boy. He is happy, loves stimulation and children being around. LOVES to be held and especially talked to. In all my care of other children of 16 years, I have not had a baby quite like this new little boy. Andy (not child's real name) arrives each morning having already been fed 4-5 ounces of formula. Hot Slings & Other Baby Carriers

HI Gals! I was wondering, does anyone out there use a Hot Sling baby carrier? If so, how do you like it? Or did you try it and not like it? How about other baby carriers? I've used the Baby Bjorn, the Snugli, and the JJ Cole infant carrier and nothing has really made me super happy yet. My 5 mos old has just about out grown her infant carrier (which I can barely carry at this point!) and I need something to carry her in when I'm out and about with both my 2 year old & 5 mos old girls.
