Britax Car Seat Questions

I had asked about the best car seat for my infant and word across the board is Britax. Here is my next question ... will this car seat fit into a Hyundai Tucson? AND do they have cup holders? Features I would hope a car seat would have if I am spending that much money!

Which Britax Carseat?

We need to buy a new carseat for my daughter (soon to be 1 y/o and 20+ lbs.). She is in an infant carseat now but is over the height limits (29"). We are looking at the Britax Marathon but I hate how bulky it looks. I would like to keep her rear-facing as long as possible. I was also considering the Britax Boulevard or Dilpomat. Anyone have experience with those models? Or advice on carseats in general? Thanks!

Which Britax Car Seat Should I Get??

I currently have a Britax Roundabout for my 18 month old, but was looking to get another one for our other car. Also, I'm expecting our 2nd in April, so another car seat will come in handy. I figure our next baby will be able to use the Roundabout when he/she outgrows the infant seat, so I'm looking for a seat for my son who will be around 2y.o. I would like something that he could use for as long as possible. Any suggestions? I'm thinking about the Marathon, but there's the Boulevard and a few others..and I'm not sure what all the...

Switching to a Front Facing Car Seat.

I am currently using the rear facing infant carrier, however, my son is now 6 months old and is at the height requirment to switch seats. He is still 1 lbs below the weight limit for the front facing (22lbs), and I am wondering if it is even safe to switch him yet? He still seems so young to be front facing but he can sit up on his own and when he is in his carrier he just pulls himself into a sitting position and gets angry when you have to latch him down. Plus it sure would be nice to not have to lug around the extra weight of the...

Toddler Car Seat

Hi everyone, we recently switched our one year old over to a convertible car seat. We got a really, nice (expensive) one from my SIL. Here's my question, my hubby and I share the responsibility of picking up and dropping of our son at daycare. For instance, Jay will drop off and I'll pick up. I'm so confused about what to do about the car seat. With the infant car seat, it was easy to take out of the car and switch to another car. Well, that's not the case with the convertible car seat, it's large and in charge and difficult to maneuver...

Rear Facing Car Seat

I just have a doubt after reading a news article about new suggestions for kids in car seats. I know they say to have your child rear-facing until at least 1 year old and 2 if possible. My son has been facing forward for quite a while, though. He's 10 months old and at his last doc. visit at the beginning of February he was 2.5 feet long. If I were to put him rear-facing his feet would be sitting on the head rest. How are you supposed to keep them rear-facing when they're so long? Are there car seats that sit farther from the seat back of...

Portable, Convertible Car Seat

We're in the market for a new car seat for our 15 month old daughter who is 29.5 inches tall and weighs just over 20 lbs. I'd like to get a convertible seat so we can keep her rear-facing for a little longer. The only tricky part of this equation is that we don't own a car. We regularly use I Go cars (a car sharing program). So we need a seat that is relatively portable as we generally have to walk at least two blocks to get to the car when we're taking her somewhere. I've seen seats in the airport that have wheels in the base and...
