Newly Diagnosed Milk Allergy

Hi Ladies! My 21 month old son was just diagnosed yesterday with a "moderate" milk allergy. Lately he's been getting a rash on his body and has been on desonide cream for the last week. I have not had a chance to talk with his doctor yet - she was out of the office. But the nurse only said "eliminate all dairy" - the kid is practically made out of dairy!...lots of milk during the day, grilled cheese sandwich for lunches, yogurt for snack etc. So I'm pretty much at a loss - does anyone have similar experience with a milk allergy? Soy Protein Allergy

I have an 8 week old son who is solely breastfed. He is in the 97% for weight and 50% for height. I cant help but think, however that he is allergic to something that is being passed through my breastmilk. He has several bouts of crankiness and has a rash on his thighs, upper back and face. We went to the doctor yesterday and he said it was just a baby rash and that I shouldnt worry about it. I still think something else is wrong.
