Infant with Allergy?

My 6 month old seems to have some kind of allergy from the weather. We went to trail of lights on sat, the wind was blowing and the weather was humid but not cold, and the next day her nose was very stuffy and she is sneezing w/watery eyes. My husband has allergies and his nose was bothering him on sun. also. She is still really stuffed up. Is there anything I can do for her? She just got over a sore throat and fever, also. Hi Moms! I need some personal advice on giving a 16 month old cold medicine. My daughter is very congestion and coughing like crazy. My 4 1/2 month daughter has had continuous episodes of congestion and sneezing. Her ped does indicate that she has an allergy and keeps having us switch formulas. I tried to breastfeed but was unable to produce enough milk so we started her on Similac Advance. "OTC Meds or Not"

Lately there has been alot of talk about not giving children under 2 over the counter cold meds. Some doctors say its ok some not. what to do when your 15month old is up all night and can't breathe? How did we ever survive the OTC meds. as a child, and I know our moms gave it and we all did up until about 2 yrs ago when the FDA scared everyone. Iam looking for some home remedies for head congestion in a 15 month old. Iam also wondering if anyone out there still uses the OTC meds for thier children?
