Is Montessori Worth the Hassle?

My mother, who watches my 19mo once a week, feels very strongly about providing a montessori education. She has offered to pay for both of my boys to attend a school in the next town. On the surface it sounds likes a no-brainer and we jumped at the opportunity for private education. Now that we've applied, we find out that the school is only open in the mornings.
