Working together as part of our team in our EVI Legacy Health, six-hospital system in Portland OR, using the latest ultrasound technology, you will be performing cardiac diagnostic ultrasound exams and special procedures related to cardiac imaging in accordance with established protocols, policies, and procedures. Ability to apply your diagnostic scanning skills together with independent judgment in applying knowledge of clinical cardiology, ultrasound imaging technology, and problem-solving skills for a thorough ultrasound evaluation, appropriate, accurate measurements, while tailoring and expanding the exam to ensure comprehensiveness and diagnostic accuracy. Complete accurate, diagnostic reports, using our digital CPACS system for our cardiologists to review and complete in a timely manner. Opportunity for Advanced Cardiac Growth! Opportunity to train into Pediatric Echo! We are one of the few organizations in the nation, that will fully train you in Pediatric Echocardiography. We perform all congenital diagnostic, surgical, post-surgical, interventional, and follow-up Pediatric Echo Exams in our Legacy Randall Children’s Hospital and Pediatric Clinic.

Salary: $43.00 – 75.00 Per Hour

Education Level: Associate’s degree

Experience: Whether you are newly graduated from an accredited ultrasound school, or you have years of experience, we have a position for you! Whether your knowledge, skills and expertise is in Adult Echo, or Pediatric Echo or both, we have a position for you! Take advantage of our training opportunities in Advanced Interventional Echo, or comprehensive Pediatric Echo, to expand and develop your professional knowledge, skills and expertise!

Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited Ultrasound Program. Registered (or registry eligible) by either ARDMS or CCI is required.

Skills: As a cardiac sonographer on our team, you will possess and demonstrate your skills, knowledge and expertise in both inpatient and outpatient settings, performing cardiac diagnostic ultrasound exams and special procedures related to cardiac imaging in accordance with established protocols, policies, and procedures. Ability to apply your diagnostic scanning skills together with independent judgment in applying knowledge of clinical cardiology, ultrasound imaging technology, and problem-solving skills for a thorough ultrasound evaluation, appropriate, accurate measurements, while tailoring and expanding the exam to ensure comprehensiveness and diagnostic accuracy. Complete accurate, diagnostic reports, using our digital CPACS system for our cardiologists to review and complete in a timely manner.

Responsibilities: Performing Adult and/or Pediatric diagnostic cardiac echocardiograms (TTE, TEE, SE), in inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and interventional settings. Completing exam reports for cardiologist interpretations, on our CPACS. Work together as a team with fellow cardiac sonographers, cardiologists, surgeons and interventionalists, providing cardiac diagnostic services.
