West Coast Music Academy is Santa Clarita's newest instructional facility offering premium music lessons from university-trained teachers in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere.

Here at the Academy, we are out to dispel the notion that music lessons need to be taught in the back room of a music store by someone who may have been a roadie for Foghat during the 70's.

Our goal since founding WCMA has been to give students of all ages and skill levels the chance to explore their creativity through music which, in turn, will affect other areas of their lives. Studies have shown time and time again that kids who study music at an early age do better in school, score higher on the SAT, and generally lead more succesful lives.

Our school features state of the art equipment, clean, well-maintained teaching rooms and a friendly desk staff to answer any questions you may have. We make sure all of our instructors have a strong desire to teach others, and the knowledge and know-how to back it up. Many of our instructors have toured, recorded, and writen for nationally acclaimed artists across the globe. WCMA instructors have held faculty positions at many colleges and unviersites throughout the nation.

At West Coast Music Academy, private, one on one lessons for students of all ages are at the heart of our program. We feel that this kind of personalized instruction gives students the best opportunity to learn an instrument at their own pace while letting our instructors tailor the lesson to each student's specific needs and abilities. We take great care to only hire the most qualified instructors in the field. Before being hired, background checks are run on all of our instructors by Kroll Background America to ensure your child's safety and well being. Many of our instructors have taught in public and private school systems as well as at the college level. In addition, all of our instructors are working musicians with years of stage, studio and touring experience. What this means is when your child takes lessons at WCMA he or she will be assured of receiving the highest quality instruction available.

We currently offer 30, 45, or 60 minute private lessons on the following instruments:
